A CLASSIC 1949 BENTLEY MARK VI SPORTS OPEN TOP CAR - REG: AJX 930 (Chassis No: B244EY),
We have now in possesion of the log book and various documentation relating to this vehicle and its rebuild history. The current log book states no previous registered keeper and former log books state 'None since Feb 82'
This particular 1949 Bentley is carrying one man's personal vision on how this open top should have looked and was apparently seen and used for many years in the village it resided in. The car's originality of Bentley items is still in full existence and is believed to be running the larger 4.566cc engine (although not fully confirmed).
Looking back into the history we have managed to ascertain this car shows via DVLA records that it was in a state of constant MOT from when computer records started in 2006 to 2011, showing the car was MOT every year and covering a distance of 700 miles in that 5 year period. MOT having expired in 2012 the car now shows 55229 miles.
The vehicle is in need of full recommission due to standing for numerous years.
to include attic contents from Chillington Hall, Brewood by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Giffard & the Estate of the late Mr Ray Roberts, Penkridge
